Widely known as T2, is a 1991 action-science fiction film directed, co-written and co-produced by James Cameron. It features Arnold Schwarzenegger (Terminator), Linda Hamilton (Sarah Connor), Edward Furlong (John Connor) and Robert Patrick (Mercury man). It picks up around ten years after the events of The Terminator and follows Sarah Connor, her 10-year-old son John and a protector from the future (as in the first film), as they try to prevent Judgment Day, a day in the future when machines will begin to exterminate the human race.
In this 2nd edition Two terminators arrive from the future 2029, one to protect the kid who is going to be their future General and another one (Mercury Man) is here to kill him. The chase begins as well as the nonstop action that remains enthralling till the climax when terminator devastates the mercury man.
T2 proved to be a winner all the way from box Office to critical acclaimation.The film begged many awards including four Academy Awards for makeup, sound mixing, visual effects and sound editing.
This Movie was the most successful movie of Arnold Schwarzenegger, who is 7 times Mr. Universe award winner and currently the governor of California, US.
T2 was a cult, and still a favorite among movie lovers. Movie has a repeat value and I hardly met somebody who has not watched this twice or thrice and still intend to watch it. The Action is amazing and keeps you on the edge of your seat. The movie starts and finishes on a single note of continuity. There is no time to sit back or relax. Perfect cinema and a complete entertainer.
