Shaken, not stirred. Or you like, “Name is Bond, James Bond”
Well whatever you like, it shows your love and admiration for this iconic character. This movie was fresh change from the previous Bond movie as Timothy Dalton was replaced by Pierce Brosnan, his first appearance as Bond. It was 17th Bond flick.
Goldeneye was a pretty good action flick and took a gap of six years from the last Bond movie. But the wait was worth I guess. The very first 5 minutes of the movie sets the pace, with the amazing stunt when Bond takes a leap from sky high Dam. The movie never stops from here.
Released in 1995, Goldeneye was a huge box office success and also received award nominations for "Best Achievement in Special Effects" and "Best Sound" from the British Academy of Film and Television Arts.
However you will always find some of the basic features in a Bond flicks like hot chicks, Machines, impossible gadgets and things which will always look childish if you start to think logically. But bond movies are known for the style of this suave character who always able to defy death and emerge triumphant. And I as a viewer have no problems with that whatsoever. Don’t we want to see him as a winner, well that’s the reason we watch Bond flicks. From the very start we know that only Bond can turn it around. And we thoroughly enjoy when he actually does that. Pierce Brosnan has perfectly lived the Character.
Pierce Brosnan is definitely a better than the Timothy Dalton. 4 out of 5 stars form my side. Carry on James, you rock.
