Big 13 Going on 30!

It would be awesome if one can skip like twenty years and become a grown-up at one go, overnight! A very good concept which is mysterious and unpredictable.
Two movies were made with this concept - 'Big' and '13 Going on 30'. The former is my personal favorite because of Tom Hanks and the latter is also a nice flick for all ages rediscovering life and love starring Jennifer Garner.

Big :

A young boy named Josh Baskin(Tom Hanks), wish one day from an old machine to be big, despite the fact that he does not believe it is going to work. He is very surprised, therefore, to find himself in the next day- big. Now he looks like a 30 years old guy, but he still behave like a twelve years boy. He decide to go with his best friend to New York, to find the machine that can fix his wish. In New York he gets a job in a toy company, and develop a relationship. Currently, he must learn to get used to the adults world he always wanted to be part of. Would he still like to remain an adult?

13 Going on 30 :

This is a comedy fantasy about an awkward girl, Jenna, (Jennifer Garner) who is picked on by her classmates. She wants to grow up and not go through this stage of her life. On her 13th birthday she invites some of her so-called friends over for a party. They get Jenna to go into the closet to play the 7-minute game with one of the boys. Jenna is waiting for him to come into the closet and kiss her, but they leave the party. She makes a wish to become popular and 30. She wakes up the next day 17-years older, beautiful, a successful magazine editor, and living in New York. She cannot remember the past 17-years, so she contacts her best friend (Mark Ruffalo) who lived next door. He brings her up to speed about her life. Jenna discovers that she wants her old life back and tries to get it.

Two magical movies which can stir our imagination and excite young minds that wants to grow up as soon as possible. Better take a look at the mirror when you wake up early morning. Wishes can come true!
