August Rush

August Rush is a drama film directed by Kirsten Sheridan. This is a story about a boy Evan Taylor who grew up an outcast in a home for boy, who believes that his parents are alive. He always that his parents wants hi and they will meet him one day, and he loves music also because music is in his genes. By some co-incidents, after few year he meet his parent in a music concert. which was in New York, when he was 12 year old child. Unfortunately his parents also get separated because of some social problem, but on the same music concert where there child was present.



August Rush has received awards also like Academy Award for Best Original Song (Raise it up), Young Artist Award and Academy Award of Science Fiction, Fantasy, and Horror Film, USA.

This a story revolves around six year girl Julia (Marlene Lawton). Jodie Foster is a engineer based in Berlin, Germany, unfortunately her husband died falling from the roof of an avionic manufacturing company. Foster and her small daughter moved to Large Iceland to Berlin, Germany to bury his husband and stay with her parents. When they are going, Julia's daughter was missing from the plane and flight attendant aren't really concerned about this. She find every where in the flight but Julia came to know that something is going wrong.

When she can't come across in a calm manner then she resort to yelling and causing a huge fuss. But the everything was planned by Gene Carson (Peter Sarsgaard).Kyle Pratt has just gone through the trauma of losing her husband and with that her daughter was missing from flight. This create problem for her. The genre of the movie is action, thrill and mystery. Flightplan has won ASCAP Award in 2006, Jodie Foster received best actress award and this movie is nominated for Teen Choice Award in 2006.
